Our Vision CONNECT WITH GOD God came to us first because He wants to build loving relationship with us through Jesus Christ. God demonstrates his own love for us through Christ who died for us while we were still sinners. We must connect with God by believing in Jesus in order for us to experience His deep love and for us to be fruitful in Him. The Connect Church hopes to be a place where people can connect with God and be a church of faithful worshipers. "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit" John 15:5a NIV CONNECT WITH BELIEVERS As soon as you start a relationship with Jesus, you start relationships with other believers. And we are all become a member of God's family. No one is alone or left out in this family. In a church built by faith, we all are children of God and we will grow together as a loving community. Every relationship will be built and grown with love. Our hope is to build a community where we feed and love one another. The Connect Church hopes to be a place overflowing with the heart of Christ. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another" John 13:34 CONNECT WITH NEXT GENERATION There's always next generation. God does not want different generations to get separated, but rather He wants us to connect with the next generations by faith. Just like we learned our faith in Jesus Christ from our parents, we must pass those faith to our next generations. We hope that our children don't conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds. Then they will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. Our church hopes to be a role model for the next generation. We hope our church to have God's Words upon our hearts and for us to be able to guide our next generation to the Lord's way. "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up" Deuteronomy 6:6-7 CONNECT WITH WORLD We became children of God through Jesus sacrificing Himself dying on a cross. He also called us as missionaries. Mission to spread the gospel isn't very hard. It's simple and easy because God is always with us. Every believer is assigned with this mission to tell the good news. And we are devoted to follow this mission because it is the best way for God to be pleased and for us to be joyful. This Week's QT Passages The Connect Church encourages that all(adults, young adults, youth, kids) church members have a daily QT (Quiet Time) reading the Bible passages below. For QT: Should decide time and have a designated place. Should have a Bible and prepare to take notes. Should recite the passages out loud quietly and repeatedly. Should have a deep fellowship with the holy spirit. The process is more important than the result.
