This Week's QT Passages The Connect Church encourages that all(adults, young adults, youth, kids) church members have a daily QT (Quiet Time) reading the Bible passages below. For QT: Should decide time and have a designated place. Should have a Bible and prepare to take notes. Should recite the passages out loud quietly and repeatedly. Should have a deep fellowship with the holy spirit. The process is more important than the result. QT Steps: Praise Confession (of sin, of faith, of love) Reading and Meditating (Read the Bible repeatedly - 3 times; Read different versions of Bible; Obedient reading; Keep asking questions; Get into the passages) Application (take notes - be specific, realistically possible, and personal - using "I") Today's QT (Living Life) Date Passages Last Week This Week Please wait... I ... < Back Pastor Bernard Chung Pastor (English and Youth Ministry) I grew up in the Washington DC area where I worked in finance and administration. In 2016, I moved to NC when Sharon and I married. I attended and graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Currently, in addition to serving at TCC, I also serve as the Learning Experience Designer for Westminster Theological Seminary. When I am not spending time with my wife and our furbabies, then you can find me noodling on my guitar, playing golf, or cheering on my favorite football team. I also love to grill and Brazilian barbeque is one of my favorite cuisines. One of my favorite pastimes is meeting up for coffee and hearing people's life stories! At TCC, I serve both the English Ministry congregation as well as the Youth Group. I often meets members in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Durham. The vision God has given me for the ministry is to know only the resurrection of Christ and serve with humility from our knees (1 Cor. 2:2-5).
